A year at our school
P&C Christmas Markets
Our annual P&C Christmas Markets was a spectacular celebration of community spirit and festive cheer! It was truly heart warming to see students, staff, families, and community members come together for a fun-filled day brimming with joy and camaraderie. The event showcased an incredible array of stalls offering unique gifts, delicious treats, and handmade crafts, providing something special for everyone.
There was never a dull moment with engaging student activities that delighted all ages, alongside wonderful performances by local artists that truly demonstrated what Public Education has to offer. The markets perfectly captured the essence of the season, fostering connection and celebration within our vibrant community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day unforgettable!
School Leaders Attend Remembrance Day Service at Richmond Park
Our school leaders proudly represented our community at the Remembrance Day service held by Richmond RSL at Richmond Park. Demonstrating the highest level of respect and solemnity, they stood alongside community members to honour and remember the sacrifices made by our veterans and servicemen and women.
Their participation reflected our school's commitment to acknowledging the importance of this significant day, fostering a strong sense of remembrance and respect among our students. We commend our leaders for their thoughtful presence and dedication to upholding these valued traditions.
Our Dance Groups: Passion, Performance, and Community Spirit
At CRPS, dance is a vibrant part of school life, with an incredible 50% of our student population proudly participating across three dynamic dance groups: the K-2 Dance Group, the K-6 Boys Crew, and the 3-6 Dance Group. We are so lucky to offer such amazing dance opportunities, making us one of the largest and most passionate dance teams in the Hawkesbury region.
Our dedicated dancers have showcased their talent and commitment throughout the year, performing at prestigious events such as the Hawkesbury Dance Festival, the Blue Mountains Nepean Dance Festival, and numerous memorable school events. Their enthusiasm and teamwork continue to inspire our whole school community.
We are incredibly proud of all our dance groups and look forward to seeing them shine on stage in the years to come!
Book Week 2025 - A Book-tastic Adventure!
Our students and staff had a fantastic time celebrating Book Week with our annual Book Character Parade and Book Fair! The day was filled with creativity and joy as everyone embraced their favourite book characters and shared their love of reading with the whole school community.
A huge thank you to our dedicated library monitors, supportive families, and our friends from Blaxland Ridge Pre-school for helping make this special day so memorable. Together, we celebrated the magic of stories and inspired a lifelong passion for reading!
"My son started at Comleroy Road Public School academically ready for school but socially very shy. From his very first day of Kindergarten, he has felt safe, supported, and nurtured. Over the past two years, he has grown so much, coming out of his shell and thriving. This is a true testament to the wonderful teachers who have understood him and supported him every step of the way. He loves school and has embraced all that it offers, taking part in the dance group, garden club, bucket drumming, signing group, and many other opportunities.
What we love most about the school is its strong sense of community. We have been welcomed with open arms, and as a smaller school, it has been lovely to see children across all year levels connect and look out for one another.
We couldn’t be happier with the school. Our experience has been positive, and we are genuinely excited for our younger children to join in the years to come". - a parent of Comleroy Road Public School
"Comleroy Road Public School is a small school with big aspirations. One of the things I value most is that the teachers genuinely know each child as an individual. Every classroom teacher my son has had has shown real care, investment and pride in his learning, social growth and overall wellbeing - I know he is in good hands every day he walks through the gate.
The grounds are beautiful and always so well cared for, the facilities are excellent, and parents are warmly encouraged to engage with the school through assemblies and special event days. Staff are consistently present at the school gates to greet and farewell students, which creates such a welcoming and connected community atmosphere.
The school embraces a culture of growth and continuous improvement, consistently seeking ways to enhance learning, behaviour, facilities and community engagement. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this school community". - a parent of Comleroy Road Public School
